Happy Thrift Score Thursday! This will be the last one of 2014, and we won’t see you again until January 6, 2015! But until them keep hunting and hashtagging. If you do, there will be so much awesomeness to feature that day! 🙂
If you aren’t sure what I am talking about, here are the details:
We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.
Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!
Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and ProperCorinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
And this week we have a special guest host back! Anna from Le Crafteur has guest hosted before, and I just love having her! She has such fun style! She recently shared this image on instagram of a sweet thrifted deer she gave a makeover to. I am in love!
Amazing, right? Paint all the deer pink!
Now, let me share with you my features!
Michelle from Decor and the Dog found this sweet little deer, and I just had to share it with the world! Or at least with the .00000005% of the world that reads my blog.
You can find Michelle on instagram here.
Holly of West Pear Interiors found this sweet brass angel candleholder! I love it for it’s nostalgic vibe. And because brass.
You can find Holly on instagram here!
Gretchen from Boxy Colonial gave a sweet Santastic (yes, I went there) makeover to this thrifted tray.
You can find Gretchen on instagram here!
And sorry to say, but this week I will not be sharing my own find. Life has just been too busy! On our 11 hour road trip to South Carolina last weekend, we did pass a Goodwill as we approached the house, but I thought Chris might kill me if I suggested it. He was a little “on edge” after dealing with the kids in the car, and me having to pee every hour while I pumped myself with water to be hydrated for the half marathon the next day. So on January 6th I’ll be back with something fantastic!
Now be sure to check out my cohosts this week to see their features!
